WHO: COEHS Staff, COEHS Faculty, COEHS Leadership, and APS partners

WHAT: A “Day in the Life” experience to connect COEHS with those doing similar work in APS and/or other partner organizations

WHEN: Thursday, October 23, 2025

If that day does not work, please select a day prior to October 23 for your @APS Day!

WHERE: Various sites at APS and/or other partner organizations and a Reception at Berna Facio Professional Development Center (3315 Louisiana Blvd.) FROM 5:00-6:30 P.M. with plenty of food and drinks! Please plan to attend!

WHY: To connect faculty and staff to their role-alike teachers, administrators, counselors, nutritionists, athletic trainers, and others in the Albuquerque Public Schools (APS) and/or other partner organizations to experience a full day of all aspects of public schooling in New Mexico in 2025.

HOW DO I PARTICIPATE?

1. Contact a person in APS and/or other partner organizations who you would like to visit on October 23rd.
2. Complete the brief informational survey at the link below.
3. Make arrangements for time, parking, what to wear, etc.
4. Check in to your site on October 23rd. For school sites, you will need to bring a photo ID and will sign in as a visitor.
5. 5. Attend the Lobos@APS Reflection Session.
   Time: 5:30 to 6:30
   Location: Berna Facio Professional Development Center (3315 Louisiana Blvd.)
   Comments from select participants & small group reflection.
6. Be open to learning how the COEHS can form stronger connections with our largest partner, APS, as well as other partner organizations.
